Advent and Christmas

Advent and Christmas 2021

You may have heard a great deal about the “omicron variant” in recent days and wondered how this latest mutation of the COVID-19 virus will affect our celebration of Christmas at the Church of the Holy Ghost. The answer is that we expect that all services will be held as usual (see below for details).

We will however be keeping abreast of developments in the rules to mitigate the health risks associated with the spread of the virus and will post here any changes to regulations and guidelines which may be announced by the Church or by regional and national government during the coming weeks. At present, there are no changes regarding visits to places of worship and celebrations: both are still permitted, in safe conditions and in full compliance with the rules.
